Default RE: Easton ST Axis or Carbon Express Maxima

I have both Maxima 350s and Axis 340s and they both fly well if I do my part.

I have broken more of the Maximas during practice and I think it is becausethey are wider and offer more area to hit with other arrows. I broke 6 of them last year shooting groups at long range (40 to 60 yards) at my 3D target.

The Axis arrows are thinner and heavier and because of this I think they drift less in the wind. They are quieter out of my bow most likely due to the increased weight so I use them for hunting.

If I was in a target shoot I would choose the Maximas over the Axis as the Maximas are lighter and they will shoot flatter but for hunting I like the Axis. I would trade my 8 remaining Maximas for Axis if I had the chance.

I use Blazers on all of them with a fall away rest and use both Slick Tricks and Wask Jak Hammers.
