MLKeith.. is the comb too low? Perhaps one of them stock pads that raise you up and soften the recoil impact might help. Keep the bad comments coming. It helps a lot.
Dave: Re read the post. The comb is too high for iron sights but perfect for a scope. Glad to see you are back on the forums. People were worried about you as you were off for a few days. They suspected power outage and such. I only scope my rifles as I am 69 and iron sights don't work anymore for me. Arizona allows scopes in muzzleloader seasons. We do not call them anything other than "muzzleloader hunts". By the way this year Arizona gives me a free for life hunting license since I turn 70 in May. I bought one this year anyway but in May I can request the Pioneer license and it is free and good as long as I stay a resident. Nice to know some think it is OK for the old guys to stay in the woods (no reference to the guy that said if we couldn't see good enought to hunt without a scope we should give up hunting). OK I did mean him.
