Default RE: Thinking about a buying a Bowtech General?

Now i know that the General would be the best shooting bow of the three but i can get a bare, Black Ice for $459 dollars, so with every thing else it should go for around 700 fully outfitted. Would probably save around 300-400 bucks from buying the General, is the General worth that much more????? My current bow is a Bear TRX so any of the newer bows would be a big improvement, Thanks for your answers....
For that price differential I would have a hard time recommending any bow currently on the market over the Black Ice.

What the General provides is a superior shooting experience. I have never shot a bow that shoots like the General. Though it is often repeated here there literally is no handshock or vibration in the shot. Noise levels are also the lowest I have experienced from an modern, adult compound bow.

As mentioned in my review of the three bows in question, the only real negative that the General has is the weight. It is about a pound heavier than the Black Ice. It is noticeable when you compare the two directly but I have found that after extensive use in the field you do not really tend to notice it much.

If we were talking full retail price for both bows I would say that you should get the General and never look back. Considering the price difference though I think the Black Ice would be the better option.
