The funny thing is that people will spend $700.00 on a short bow so it won't hit their stand and give up the most important thing called forgiveness but won't spend $200-$300 on a stand that is actually designed with the bowhunter in mind and doesn't have those rails.
Agreed about the stands. But I've shot lots of deer out of climbers with the rails, and it's just never been an issue. Never. In fact, I like having it there.

And, not to argue, but here's a question about forgiveness and short ATA. Yes, it is a FACT that longer ATA bows are inherently more forgiving than say a 32" ATA....... BUT, don't you think manufacturers have oversome at least SOME of that issue with the overall design of the bow and the cams?
