RE: BUCKLICKCREEK VEST.....WOW
I find the seat a little more akward to pull up and down and I have to work harder at it than my old vest. I also found the vest squeeked from the fiberglass supports, I pulled them out and covered them with a 100% cotton sleeve and stopped the squeeking. I' ve also modified a few of the pockets to fit my individual needs/calls. My biggest complaint is that when I load the rear pocket down with water, etc., the vest wants to ride down in the back and almost choke me with the top cross strap. This is my first vest with straps instead of being an actual vest so I' m not sure if this behavior is a product of all vest with straps or not. I' ve played with the idea of straps in the front to snap around my belt but have not actually installed any. Has anyone else had this problem and if so, how did you stop it? I' ve actually considered buying a NWTF vest and sewing the seat to it. I love the way the seat lets you sit on hills and against trees that have alot of roots that angle out.
