Wow. Thats an awesome piece of property, with some great areas and probably a lot of unlocked potential. No doubt some of the gurus on here will unlock some of it for you. First thing that jumps out at me is that I would, if possible, look into a set up on the field edge near where the standing wire fence(green line) intersects your property line(red line). Right between the bedding area and the field. Deer seem to come out in those "corner" type areas, probably because they feel safe somewhat surrounded by woods.
One question I have is how did you go about labeling and applying lines to that map for posting purposes?
Actually, it's funny you mention that point where the green line intersects the property line. It's right at that corner that most deer enter the field (notice my 2007 stand right near there?). Problem is, there's no suitable trees in the location to set up near that corner and my 2007 stand location was too far away. I shot my doe at that stand this year, and I saw a lot of deer in there, it's just very hard to exit in the evening. Really, the only way out is to back track my entry route straight out into the bottom of that "U" portion of the field.
Thanks for the compliments on the property. As for map labeling, it was done in Photoshop (that's how I got all of the blending abilities with the color). It's sloppy, but effective work
