I pretty much say to each his own. My only thing is shooting a deer at 1000 yards is a bit much. I for one want to know what is around my target. How aware are they who shoot this distance. Lots of things can go wrong at 1000 yards. Lets hope you dont miss and strike some poor hunter whos setting in a wood line beyond your shot, that you had no idea he was there. What about some hunter whos busted his butt working for that deer only for it to fall while its headed directly for him. There are to many things that could go wrong. But again to each his own.
