Default Finally got to shoot the new sidelock

Well yesterday I finally got to shoot the T/C Hawken flinter I assembled from parts purchsed on Ebay. The RMC Accusporter barrel is something that I never had and was new to me. It had a i:48 twist so I rounded up some 250 gr REAL bullets, some 240 gr PA conicals, 275 gr Maxi hunters and some .490round balls and patches.I set up a target at 50 yds and fired two rounds of the REAL bullets.Went up to check and both were about 1/2" apart at 6 o'clock about 3" low.
I adjusted the sights, swabbed the bore and proceeded to fire four more REALs. I went up to the target and all four were clustered into about a 1 1/2" group an inch above center.
No need to shoot any other bullets. I was shooting the 250 REALS with 90 gr of 3F and using a felt patch between powder and bullet.
This is my spare flinter but good to know it will shoot well if I need it.
