Let me be sure I understand.

Here is what Ihave found upon removing foregrip. The spring was obviously visible so I looked for washers on top of the spring. There was a " washer of sorts" which was bronze in color, about a 1/2 inch wide with a black band surrounding it. The washer was not completely a circle since it was cut/open on one side. The inside of this disk was slotted or grooved.

I removed it and then the spring. Under the spring was the stainless steel beveled washer (just one, with no other washers). The bevel was facing the receiver with the flat side facing the muzzle end. Also, regarding springs, there was only one large (appx 9-10 inches in length) spring that slide on the mag tube. I am not missing a friction spring am I (or is this the friction spring)?

Am I missing a washer or other parts? Is the gun set up for light loads already?
