That is really a hard question to answer. All rifles I own are a mystery to themselves. I have identical rifles in make, caliber, twist, etc.. and no two of them shoot alike or identical. I am guessing that once you find the right load you would have a good shooting rifle. Whether it will cloverleaf like your Thompson Centers only range time will tell. Ask your self this question.. if the rifle clover leafed, why would the prior owner want to trade it in on something?
I own a number of CVA rifles. While none of them cloverleaf at 100 yards, they are all good shooters. But for the record, I seldom clover leaf with any of my rifles at that distance. I am one of them people that always seem to get a flier...
