I've only caught one in person. I asked him politely to leave and he did. In his defense, I did not have names on my posted signs and he had a BS excuse saying that he thought it was an abutting landowners signs and property that he has permission to be on. I'm putting names on next year.

I carry a camera with me at all times. Next time once names are on the signs I'll be taking pictures of whoever I find, and will prosecute them to the fullest extent possible using pictures as evidence. I'm tired of putting in thousands of $$$ and hours of work, and hours of driving to find footprints in the snow walking through the sanctuary areas I've stayed out of all year long. The town is small enough that once a few names hit the newspaper with trespassing charges associated with it.......rumor will get around about how unreasonable I am and that everyone should just stay away. That's just the way I want it too.
