If you want to set up a feeder and it is legal then do it. Leave it up all season if you want. It's your choice. Don't worry about what people think about baiting, it's legal for me to do and I do it. Hell I hunt over it about 50% of the time.

As for the whole trespassing thing, I don't know what to tell you. I guess you will know when the situation is at hand.
