Can someone tell me why a herd made up of 500,000 deer is "healthier" at 250,000 bucks and 250,000 does then it is at 400,000 does and 100,000 bucks??
Well if you have 400,000 does and let's say 300,000 get succesfully bred in the spring your looking at a herd that just ballooned by 600,000 - 700,000 deer, right? I think natures balance of the herd is something like 2 does to a buck wouldn't that be what you want?
