I've never had the experience of hunting "different" herds......but if you're not practicing QDM and your neighbor is......it would stand to reason you're gonna reap some of thebenefits of his efforts.....especially when the bucks expand their home range (during the rut).
And I agree with you Charlie (in that some bucks don't "travel"). I've yet to see a "traveler" buck wander through the area I hunt (and I understand I'm 'sharing' a herd with several other landowners/lease holders). I'm sure they come through. I just haven't seen them. With as many does as I/we have.....they don't have to travel, much. It would be like leaving bar "A" where there's 30 hot women......to go to bar "B" where there's simply a different 30. What's the point (if you're a deer.....and looks don't factor in to the equation)?
