SOMETIMES you can get away with it, if the wrap is removed down to the shaft RIGHT WHERE THE VANE WAS....It will obviously leave a spot w/ no wrap, and if you can put the vane in the exact spot you won't notice.

It is, however, MUCH easier to simply redo the whole thing. And if you get your wraps from onestringer, they are inexpensive enough to not break the bank, especially for the solid colors.
