After 7 pages on this topic, I have to say I agree with most of what has been said. I know where I live in SE Pa, I can only expect to see/kill a certain size buck. I hunt public land for the most part, so much of this is out of my control. I still love the area I hunt though. Location is key, and this is why I treat myself to the Edmonton Bow Zoneeach Nov. LOCATION--LOCATION--LOCATION!
I think we have left out Pressure also and hunting habits.
In MI there were a ton big bucks in NLP 80 years ago. Location is the same, but the deer herd is not. It's getting better thou
