410 yards with a .243. Double lunged an 8 point buck which expired after trotting 15 yards.

The longest shot I would take nowadays would be around 200 yards- I now hunt in dense forest rather than over open marsh and generall use iron sighted rifles- plus I know better now not to take such long pokes at game.[8D]
