A furtakers license is required for hunting or trapping of furbearers but is specifically not required for coyotes.
Bobcats require their own special license by drawing only because the goal there is a limited harvest.

BTBow: I think the above post taken straight from the PGC website will contradict your above statement suggesting that a furtaker liscense is not required to hunt coyotes!
and,,,just to stay on topic,,,i feel that this is how the PGC will charge you to hunt those little porkers,,,,we all know that the PGC does'nt want you trapsing around the woods in deer season with a loaded gun and no
Tag,,,( cause we would'nt want you to accidently take a 2nd buck now would we)
so i look for them to have a little porker tag that you can purchase to shoot above mentioned piggies while Lawfully hunting deer or bear
