RE: Shooting wild hogs on hold in PA
ADOPTED 2007-08 FURBEARER HUNTING SEASONS
COYOTES: No closed season. Unlimited. Outside of any deer or bear season, coyotes may be taken with a hunting license or a furtaker license, and without wearing orange. During any archery deer season, coyotes may be taken while lawfully hunting deer or with a furtaker license. During the regular firearms deer and any bear seasons, coyotes may be taken while lawfully hunting deer or bear, or with a furtaker license while wearing 250 square inches of fluorescent orange. During the spring gobbler season, may be taken by those with a valid tag and meet fluorescent orange and shot size requirements.
DennyF:
Just so my words cant be construed by others: the above statement(taken directly from the PGC website) will replace my original statement trying to answer your question of how do they charge you to hunt coyotes.During the regular firearms deer,,and any bear seasons, coyotes may be taken while lawfully hunting deer or bear,,,or with a furtaker liscense. Now,,, since lawfully hunting deer or bear means that you must have a tag to hunt em and my original statement said that i would like to hunt coyotes after i tagged out on deer (1 buck tag because i cant justify killing a doe in these days and times) but could not justify spending the money on a Furtaker liscense (nonresident)
Thank You
