I took the mounts back to Gander today after work and returned them. I looked around for something that would work and wasn't having much luck. That was the only model one piece they had, so I looked at some Leupold two peice mounts and they wouldn't work right either.
I ended up getting some Weaver guide series two peice mounts and some rings. They are basically knock offs of the twist on Leupold design. I took them home to put them on and mount the scope. These things are crappy junk in my opinion. They may be knock offs of the Leupold design, but they are poor version of it. The machining and finish is not all that fantastic and the scope tube would not even fit well in the rings. The heck with lapping, I had to actually sand them[

]. And they were only 5 dollars cheaper than the leupold stuff. The quality of the two products is not even close in my opinion.
Then once I got the scope on there I found out there is no leeway for eye relief adjustment. The rings are too far apart. And it just so happens the scope is too far forward to get a decent picture, especially when you crank the power up.
I think later this week I will have to go to Cabela's and look around there and see if I can find anything better. I would really like to go with warns again, but I think I will run into the same problem with the scope adjustment. If this had a longer action I don't think I would have even gotten the scope in the rings.
