Yeah thank God. i would never take a head shot. I would never eventake a head on chestshot with a bow because I think the breast plate could create to much resistance and you could just wound the deer but with the 12 gauge shottyand those sabot slugsi felt very confident that a breast bone was not gonna stand a chance and it did not.

i took the same shot this year in early muzzelloader season at 80 yards with a 50 cal. 295 grain powerbelt wow what a mess deer went straight down and never moved
