I am a bowhunter so I like them close.
I have been using 6 decoys with success. I call it TOOD(Triangle Orgy of Death). I setup six decoys 3 jakes and a 3 hens in a triangle. With point triangle being furthest away from me. My theory is when a bird walks in the middle I got him.
My other theory is male theory. Meaning if we see couple doing it in one room, and 3 in other room. Which room are you going to check out.
I enjoyed the read and I am going to try some of ideas on here. I have no clue what I am doing
Thats funny. I remember reading about it last spring, if i even had 6 turkeys id try it out just to see, but heck i only have a hen and the pretty boy combo. Im probably gunna tote the bow around some this spring too.
