You do need to go to a bow shop and shoot every single last bow they have until you find one that you like. I decided to go with a middle grade bow with upper end acsessories. I shoot a Bear Instinct. No its not one of the "Big 3's" but it's what fit me. It also comes with a lifetime warrenty. 305-fps will kill'em just as dead as 330-fps for about half the price. I have and Ultra rest, a Toxonics 5 pin sight, and shoot Easton ST full metal jacket arrows w/ 100 grn MX4 Muzzy broadheads. I love my bow, it shoots fast and flat and there is also alot of meatit the freezer.
My brother-in-law shoots an Instinct and I can tell you that it is accurate, pretty quiet and smooth. For the price, it is a value buy! He just got into archery and just split an arrow the other day. Some might call it luck but he gets tight groups at 20 yards. His bow with everything probably cost him $400.
