Hello all, get my first ML this weekend Omega 50 w/thumbhole and realtree camo along with the Omega scope. and comments or advise on this package? also i'm sure this has been been talked about to death but what would you recommend for loads for first time shooting and sight in along with deer hunting inWisconsin.

I have an Omega and I shoot 100g of 777 loose, 300g Nosler Partition Protected Point HG (hand gun, opens at a bit lower velocity), Crushed Rib sabot. I swab between shots IN THE FIELD and on the bench. In the FIELD, I use bore butter, because it doesn't dry out in a plastic bag. Other good bullets are: Barnes--MZ, TMZ, really any Barnes. ShockWave bonded. Speer Gold Dot 300g. Here are the things I use for my Omega:

I like 300g since they shoot thru deer the 260 do NOT always shoot thru deer and the 300 do, and they have better BC.

That should get you started. Forget pellets 90 to 120g of loose 777 is what the gun will shoot well at.
