I agree with Di...I wouldnt go as far as baking the space heater would be the better of the two! Dry and cold here (although its still above zero yeeehaa!) As far as the humidity you might try a dehumidifier? Never had that problem though so I dont have experience in that dept..just a thought. The more you try to do to your shafts, the more possible problems you are going to run into, (hope that makes sense) You're better off trying to control the environment in the room you are doing them in. Well, thats what I would do anyways.
