I'm currently checking with RMC ref their flintlock barrels (which one or both will fit the Lyman Deerstalker). I want to shoot sabots outof it. Which one would be the better of the two (provided they both fit)? I know my Omega has a long barrel and it shoots great.

Load? I'm thinkingabout 100gr 2f / 80 gr 3f Goex under a 300 gr Nosler / 300 gr XTP Mag. I'm not sure what GM barrels are rated for as far as powder is concerned.

Any thoughts?
