Just picked up my Model Seven .204 this afternoon.

Rushed home, mounted the Leupold scope and took it out to shoot. It was right around dusk, but I was hoping to fire a couple of rounds and at least get it on paper.

An 8" flame shot out of the end of the barrel.

Is this normal for a rifle this fast? Never had anything this fast before.

IF the .204 impressed you, try firing a .264 Win. Mag. about the same time of day...........
