Absolutely...A young female of any species...Deer, turkey, or even domesticated animals like cows and lambs are by far the best eating in my opinion.

This is probably an un-popular view,,,but living where I live...Crop Damage permits are the norm, rather than the exception...So when I say this, I say this with the understanding that many folks might take this the wrong way...But a twenty to thirty pound fawn is hands down the best venison that there is.
