One of the biggest reasons is prob. b/c of the speed today's bows are producing?
That Mohave was shooting a 360gr arrow combo at 286fps. Not a screamer, but right up there with most bows. My Commander will shoot same arrow 298fps, and my bowtech liberty will shoot it 280fps.
The mohave was 8 years old, the rest are less than 2.
Go to a bow shop and pick up an older cam, and then ask to see a new one from say a bowtech allegience. You can feel the difference. I couldn't believe how weak the 06 allegence binary cams were. No wonder they had to quickly redesign to beef up that one thin spot that was warping..
