Savage rifles are wickedly accurate, right out of the box! [8D]

I love my older model 110 in .308 - it's my #1 rifle. When I had it out at the range a few months ago and had it on a bench rest, I was blown away by the accuracy - I mean,I've never shot a rifle that good!

For you fellow Savage owners: Try using Federal rounds. IMHO, for some reason, Savage rifles seem to like Federal. I've tried Winchester. I've tried Remington Core-Lokt's. They all shoot fine, but you definitely notice the rifles' preference with Federal. You instantly get sub-MOA groupings!
