I have a pair of the 5mm and really haven't been too fond of them. They are warm if you are standing in a cold river or marsh but if you have very much walking to do you will sweat up a storm. Other problems for me are the pair I got are really too tall I'm 5'8" and they come up almost to my shoulders. Also I am not fond of velcro straps instead of suspenders. They are tough and will last along time with proper care. Also because of the thickness of the material they are difficult to get in and out of. My best advice is to try them on with the clothes you intend to hunt in. Good Luck.
