Default RE: Building a Rifle Battery

ORIGINAL: Sheridan

Just got that remington 700 SPS DM in my hot little hand and going to bring it up to Bolsa gunsmithing with the Burris 4-16X I told you about.
Tigger work? (at least, lighten it up +/-3lbs.?)
Barrel lapping?
Hey, do you hunt coyotes?
Sell the pelts?
I'd try the trigger first and see how it feels. It might need tuned it might not. 2 1/2-3lbs is about right if it is crisp.

I'm not sure about lapping a factory barrel, you could probably just shoot it to break it in...

Yeah, I hunt coyotes, its a blast. I don't sell pelts, but I was talking to a buddy the other day, and he said he heard some people get pretty good money for them around here. So I'm going to start looking into it. They also get like $500 for bobcat pelts.
