Should I contact them first and let them know the problem or just send it back describing the problem?That's what I did with the Encore when the stock split on it .It was a couple of years old and bought new.
Just send the whole gun back to them . I had a model 70 that was built in 1996 and needed a bolt redone on it and they picked it up n/c.
