Default RE: shipping a gun question

The paper work they had said something about them being broken down or something like that so I complied, wasn't that big of a deal really.

I simply don't have the room to save boxes from all the stuff I buy. And when I got these I was actually living with someone and staying in one room. Now I live in a trailer but I still don't have the room to keep a bunch of gun boxes. I barely have room for the crap I have now.

And even if I had saved the boxes for these it still wouldn't have helped me out in this situation, it would have cost me even more that way. I would have had to ship three packages instead of one, and the one still would have been the same size because it was the gun case. It was actually cheaper to send them all in one box that was kind of heavy compared to three large boxes.

I get what you mean though, for some reason it also seems to help the value of the gun if you still have the box from what I have seen. If I was the kind of guy to do a lot of trading on gunbroker or something I would for sure keep the boxes.

Well I need to get around and go pick me out a scope now.
