Went rabbit hunting Friday(got 6, Eating rabbit and gravy this morning).Got home and was wiping down my Browning Gold hunter whan I noticed a scratch on the stock.After closer inspection I discovered a crack about 2" long running from the recoil pad up the center of the stock.Needless to say my feelings were hurt.I know the more I shoot it the worse it will get.So the fat man here got on the trusty old 'puter and found a new butt stock,so I figure you have to have a new forearm so they will match.You know "well if I get the stock I got to get the other piece so it will look right both new with no dents,dings, or scratches"SOOO botom line my little rabbit hunt is going to cost me $255.50 .If it ain't one thing it's another.On the bright side I will have a brand new set of wood to beat all to hell.
