I have the plates on right. I too noticed that the pins fit tighter if they take the wedge plates and move them the other way. The wedge it self is way to short and doesnt even go all the way through.
Very bottom pin in the pic is the good one. The one at the top is the undersized pin that is way off and doesnt even make contact with the wedge plate and easily slides out.
