i can ee a slug gun with sabots but everyone i have talked to on here says not to hunt with a smoothbore out past 60 yards so whyw ould you use a shotgun out to 100 yards for defense if you wont use it for hunting
and you can not use shot in a rifled barrel so s slug gun is not good for close quarters

i agree i think a shotgun for 100 is a good way to get shot dead i would take a ak47 ar15 or even abolt action and leave the shotgun for under 20

For 100 yards or less, I'd take a AKM over a shotgun, for 20 yards or less, I'd take the shotgun.
Do you think a shotgun with a slugisn't accurate at 100??? OR, do you think a slug wouldn't kill you at 100???
Wanna put some money up to prove me wrong in either case??
