Not even close to the same. When they "blow" at you your busted. A snort wheeze is a display of dominance.
On the other hand all these posts where people come on and say "I have been hunting 75 yrs and never heard or seen that" are horse crap. I know a lot of guys who have been hunting a lot of years and cant find their azz with both hands. I have killed bucks off the snort wheeze and heard it. I don't know how many times, I'm not a numbers guy I like results. Obviously it works and is more successful in good buck to doe ratio areas and only during certain times of the season. Watch the deer and they will tell you when it is time for it.
