Default RE: baiting georgia hogs

I live here in Georgia.I am starting a hunting preserve for europeans wild boars. I have been told and have read many rules and laws .You can not hunt hogs over bait in Georgia. I have been lied to by many DNR officers. This is a shame. You would think by at least asking them you could get the Truth. But i have been lied several times and so I have to do alot of research on the computer and calling different people in the state to get answers. But Be careful. i know of some that do hunt over corn for hogs here in Georgia. But Good luck. Lets hope they change the laws soon. You cant put corn out for hogs but you can plant a 5 acre corn field or soybean field and it is fine. What a contridiction.WHo is really making these laws up. well as we all know that in georgia you can hunt deer behind a high fence . Well thats what DNR will tell you. That is not true. They will also tell you that if you put up a HIgh fence you will have to have all the deer out of the property . Well that is not true either. There are few Rich guys who put this to the test in Middle Georgia. They hired a Lawyer to do some research and well DNR is a Fat Lier. So Now they have fenced in there large farm and did not have to run the deer off of it. They have been shooting some deer in the 190in class last year. Natural georgia deer. But you still cant bring in deer. Well just a thought on how far DNR will LIE . God Bless.
