2 They are lighter than brass nock = more speed.
Increase of speed by puttin the release directly behind the arrow.

3 They eliminate nock pinch

4 Less serving wear

5 more forgiving if you have a tendancy to twist the release head.

any one is good enough reason to at least try one out IMO
