They seem to turn out of focus in the field easier than I care for, I switched to the Leupold Boone and Crockett just for that reason and the glass is good too. In my opinion the Swarovski and Kahles have the best overallglass but like the Leupold for the eye focus. Dont have to worry in the field if I get a quick running shot that my scope will be focused or not.
Never had that problem and it is easier much easier to focus either of the 2 brands you mentioned. Your taking a 2 step drop in optics and settling for a scope with cheaper aluminum tubes that are not even hard anodized and with a poor erector system that is outdated. Whatever
