RE: difference in youth and full size models
I have the Rossi Youth gun in the .243 for my Daughter and she handles it very well,the shorter barrel length is fine and it shoots accurately.If your considering buying for a Youth the smaller gun would probably be better unless they are a pretty good size kid you may want to go with the full size Rossi guns?I will tell you that the shorter 20 gauge shotgun barrel kicks like a SOB...and I have the bruises on my shoulder to prove it! I was test patterning the gun with the 20 gauge barrel to take her on the Youth Turkey hunt and after a few shots and some serious kicking I had a very nice big bruise on my shoulder...so a shorter shotgun barrel/gun will give some pretty bad recoil and flinching to say the least!
