I think alot depends on how much they were stressed through out the season, rutting activity, food avaliability, harsh weather conditions, ect,ect,ect.....

Yesterday i went back to some new land i want to hunt and i just got done putting up my camera over some feed and i was driving back to my house and i found a nice shed layin there, its 5 points so it should be a 10 pointer, it scored 71. So my question is why are they dropping already? Usually they dont start dropping till January but maybe the big ones are droping cuz of the weight...
Exactly Dink......there was a pretty good drought earlier in the year as well. I do see a lot of them drop this early in the season, but maybe not quite this many. The last time I saw this many was (don't remember the exact year, I think around 2003) when we had a drought during the summer here in WI.
