I have the mesh harness (approx.$140) and am very comfortable knowing that I am safe while climbing and hunting in my stand. One thing that you have to get used to is that you are somewhat limited to freely moving from side to side when at full draw. There are restrictions because of the tether strap dangling from the tree behind you and connected to your harness neckline. Try shooting from your stand with your harness on before going to the woods. They make a caribiner that quickly hooks and unhooks so that you can move more freely but then your harness would not be effective and safe.
