Congrats John! I know that my dad loves spending time out on his property - just being out there,
it's addicting. Next thing you know you will have a tractor, shredder, sprayers, seed spreader, and
a new steel shed to put it all under.

It took plenty of trial and error, but we are finally getting the knack and knowledge of our land to
plant some good annual food plots, we have a couple of nice perennial clover plots, and have planted
hybrid (fast growing) pear, white oaks, and persimmons, which should start paying dividends in 5 or so years.
We also plan on thinning out (selectively hopefully) some of the woods next year - a lot of crap trees in there.
Sorry to hear about your hunting woes Germ. Hours and hours on a stand and it can all be undone by
one coyote! I'm still not used to this bowhunting thing - 25 yards and a big buck not being toast.

Good luck El Capitan.
Still trying to plot some hunting for next weekend. We shall see. I'm about worn out with doing
countless tasks and errands right now (wife can't bend down due to C-Section). [:@]
