i got a recoil reducer for my nova, consists of a bracket that fits in the hollow stock and holds a cylinder full of mercury. havent tried it yet, if you have a wood stock, you can forgo the bracket and drill a hole in your stock and place the cylinder inside back it up with a peice of hose and put your butt plate back on. the cylinder itself cost me 40 bones, but i got one of those bum shoulders too and the gunsmith said it will noticeably reduce recoil. the cylinder has to fit tight and dont go drillin up your gun unless your good at that sort of thing. it wont work if its crooked it your stock. good luck.
