I wear contact lenses for distance correction. Without them in I can focus on close objects perfectly, but with them in I need "reading glasses" for close-up work. Also with them in the rear sight is "fuzzy" but the front sight and target are clear - perfect reason to use aperture sights!
With glasses for distancevision correction even the front sight is "fuzzy" so I stick with contacts!
