Do not know the exact location of the pic., really don't know much about it. Just thought I'd share it with all of you.
It is believable to me because of a deer my brother shot several years ago. He shot it in about in the same spot as this one except it was a couple inches higher. The buck was severely quartering away when he shot. This happened in the middle of October, and our neighbor shot it during the rifle season a full month later. The full arrow (aluminum) was still hanging out of the deer, tight to the body.
Penetration was only about 5 inches and was lodged going forward. I don't believe the arrow could be pulled out by the deer, the way it went in. If I didn't see it with my own eyes,I would not have believed it. I would have thought the very least that the arrow would have broke off.
