Default RE: Running Dogs In VA

ORIGINAL: reswire

If anyone knows of an organization that is trying to stop deer/dog hunting in va. , please post their address. I know a few people who would love to donate money to help in the fight! As long as it is not PETA, they can have all my money!!!

this is one of the main reasons why hunters are losing the battle. just because you don't hunt the way someone else does, doesn't give you the right to bash them and ASSIST in trying to get that type/style of hunting illegalized. if their hunting practice is legal, then leave them alone and don't bad mouth ALL the hunters who participate in that type/style of hunting. i know far more still hunters who participate in illegal activities while hunting than dog hunters...but you don't see me trying to donate money to get still hunting done away with.

i no longer dog hunt but i grew up dog hunting, i dog hunted for about 20 years. i was pretty much forced to give it up because of people with the same mind set as you. they would take the collars off the dogs so if any one caught them they could not be returned to their owner, pick them up and haul them to another county or just shoot them. this took place on public land that was approximately 350,000 acres...so land size was not the issue.
