Take another look at the Ruger semis...I was a revolover guy as well...Bought a Mark II several years ago and I love it...Consider this..You can put a clip in the gun and not have one in the chamber until you use it...So this is a very safe carry gun...

Another point...The Mark IIs are know to be very accurate, not so with the Single Six, they are bored for a .22 Mag, so regular .22s aren't as accurate as the .22 Mag has a larger diameter....
